If you would like a quote for your turf, just let us know. We typically do handwritten quotes, but customer service can send you a computer quote. A computer quote will come from Carpets of Dalton, our parent company.
We do not have online ordering. If you would like to order, please call 855-258-4258 or 877-320-7395. Once you order, an Order Acknowledgement will be emailed to you. At this time, your order will be credited with your payment method. Then, a Bill of Lading is generated for the shipping department to prepare your order for the carrier to pick up. Once your order ships, you will receive another email called an Invoice. Under the “Sold To” and “Ship To”, you will see the carrier’s name, carrier’s phone number, date shipped, and the Bill of Lading number (BOL) which is your tracking number.
We take all major credit/debit cards, checks, bank wires, and most government-issued Purchase Orders (PO’s). We do not accept business purchase orders.
Most turfs are in stock and ready to ship. Closeout styles sell out quickly, but we get new closeouts in all the time.
We want to get you the best freight rate available. The rolls of turf ship like rolls of carpet—on a cardboard core—and are too large for UPS or FedEx package car deliveries. So, we use LTL carriers. Freight rates are determined by how much you order and the ship-to location. The most economical freight rate is picking the turf up at the carriers distribution center closest to your ship-to zip code. The second lowest rate is shipping to a business located in a commercial location (home-based businesses are considered residential deliveries). And, the most expensive is residential deliveries, although we have worked with several carriers in different parts of the U.S. that do offer reasonable residential delivery rates. Quoted rates are typically good for 30 days. We ship all turf from Dalton, Georgia. All rates include a “Call before Delivery”, meaning the carrier will call you once the turf is in their distribution center to pick up or set up an appointment time for delivery.
We ship Monday – Friday. We ship within 2 business days unless a delay with shipment is discussed and agreed upon. We ship all turf from the Carpets of Dalton, complex located at 3010 N. Dug Gap Road in Dalton, Georgia. The estimated transit times will vary depending on the ship-to location. You will receive a “Call Before Delivery” to set up an appointment time for delivery or notification your turf is ready for pick-up. The turf has to be signed for. It is the truck driver’s responsibility to get the turf to the back of the truck. It is YOUR responsibility to off-load. Please be mindful of roll size—the larger the roll the heavier the roll.
We do not install and we do not sell the sundries necessary for installation. You can buy your install sundries from Home Depot or Lowes. We recommend Roberts 6700 Turf Glue or Star Brands Stix 1100 for glue-down installations. Turf seam kits are available from Home Depot and Lowes as well. If you plan to install yourself, we do have a couple of videos on our website and a PDF of written lawn turf installation instructions. Also, please look at YouTube videos on installation—they can be very helpful. We can answer install questions also. We do have several installers we can recommend based on the location and size of the installation job. Recommended installers work completely independent of our company. Install price is negotiated directly with the installer and we have no liability for the outcome of your installation experience.
You can call Maribel Chairez at 706-226-7407 or the carrier direct. The carrier’s name, phone number, date shipped, and Bill of Lading number (BOL)—tracking number—is noted on the Invoice email below the “Bill To” and “Ship To”.
You can see the Installation Gallery on our website for pictures of our turf installed.
